During 2018, Harrison made 26 appearances and scored 33 goals in the green and white, bagging five hat-tricks in the process. Her goalscoring prowess has seen her earn the Golden Boot accolade in the Scottish Women’s Premier League for three of the last four seasons.“It’s good to have familiar faces around you, but so far everyone I have met has been really welcoming”, she continued, “I pride my game on getting goals, so hopefully I can have the same effect here as I’ve had back at home.”“There was a lot of interest in me from the club which is a nice thing, meeting with Tanya, the girls and the backroom staff it really seemed like the right place for me with where I’m at in my career and the development I need.” City Women’s newest recruit was the youngest ever player to make her debut in the Scottish Premier League, aged 14, and she may make her Women’s Super League bow this weekend in the West Country derby against Yeovil Town Ladies. Whilst she is settling into new surroundings, Harrison is very much ready for action if called upon this weekend.“When I’m called upon I will be there and ready, hopefully I can go out and do what I do best. “All I want is to keep improving as a player and I’m looking forward to Sunday, but if the time doesn’t come this weekend, I will be ready when it does.” The 21-year-old forward arrives from Hibernian Ladies FC with a goal scoring pedigree having netted 95 goals in 113 appearances for her former club. Harrison has played for Scotland from Under-16 to Under-19 level and the markswoman has made the step up to play senior international football on one occasion and that came in friendly fixture against Russia in January 2018. The striker is thankful for the opportunity to fulfil a lifelong dream of playing professional football and can’t wait to get going in the Women’s Super League. “I’m really excited to get started, professional football has been a dream of mine from a young age and I’m really thankful for the opportunity given to me – I can’t wait to get going”, she said.“The level and quality across the league is brilliant and I think it has been really competitive. Bristol City have had a great start to the season and we want to continue that, so I’m really looking forward to getting thrown right into the thick of things.”Harrison will link up with former teammate, Lucy Graham with the pair having enjoyed previous success at Hibernian Ladies FC, winning the Scottish Women’s Cup and the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup in the last three consecutive seasons.
