Participants will present and share their teaching experience on a wide range of the topics – including those below. Department of State English Language Fellows and Specialist will conduct workshops on advanced EFL/ESL methods for secondary and tertiary level. They anticipate productive discussions and fruitful exchange of ideas.The conference will host 125 participants. The working language will be English.The program will address the following themes:Using Technology in the EFL Classroom;Teaching English to Young Learners;Integrating Across Skills in EFL;Teaching English for Specific Purposes;Considerations for EL Assessment;Developing Intercultural Communication;Integrating across Methodology in ELT;Critical Thinking Approach in ELT;Teaching Writing Techniques.EligibilityFor participants from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine.CostsThe conference is sponsored by the U.S. government. Complimentary travel expenses, three-night accommodation, meals, and conference materials will be provided for selected participants.
